Happy Thanksgiving

The Hadland Team Happy Thanksgiving

We're thankful to have met so many friends and families this past year. Thank you to all of our clients, business partners, and friends. We hope you all have a fantastic Thanksgiving with the ones you love.

Letter from Karl Hadland

I'm sitting here watching the Macy's Day Parade with my kiddos, reflecting about the last year and everything I'm thankful for. It's been a great year for my family. Brooklynn is in 8th grade and just finished her last year of middle school soccer. Beckett is in 2nd grade and is such an active happy guy! Baker is almost 15 months now. Starting to say a few words and definitely learning to run before he learns to walk. We went to see Frozen 2 yesterday and his excited little feet landed him flat on his face a few times while I stood in the hallway with him while he ran around (Too excited to stay sitting for the movie.)

Angie and I are happy to announce we are expecting a new addition next Summer! June 26th Brooklynn, Beckett, and Baker will have a new little brother or sister to add to the clan! We're all very excited but I think Beckett is most excited at this point. He's mentioned many times over the past few weeks how excited he is for EITHER a brother or SISTER. Angie wants a girl. I haven't decided yet which I would like more. Time will tell I guess...We are going to try and not find out and have it be a surprise.  We'll see how we do with this commitment.  It's going to be tough!

Everyone is in good health and we are gearing up for the holidays.  Angie and I have been hard at work with some holiday gifts for all of our clients. So be on the lookout for yours. We should have them sent out next week, and I'll update the blog with photos once we send them out.

Again, Happy Thanksgiving and I hope everyone has a fantastic day surrounded with friends and family. For those of you who have to work today (Angie is working at the hospital today too), thank you all for all you do! You're appreciated. For the rest of us, have a fun filled day with good food, football, and lots of love and laughs!

Talk to you all soon!

Bellingham Real Estate Market Report and Trends

Welcome to March everyone! Even though it doesn't feel like Spring yet here in Bellingham the Real Estate market is starting to show signs that Spring is near with continued historic low inventory and homes selling fast. Here's a breakdown of the newest market trends in Bellingham;

Average Days on the Market in Bellingham

Bellingham real estate average days for sale

The average home in Bellingham is only on the market for 9 days with plenty of "popular" homes going under contract within the first 24 or 48 hours. If you're in the market to buy it's especially important to be prepared and as proactive as possible so you don't miss out when you come across "The One". Being pre-qualified can save precious time in a competitive market. Not only will being pre-qualified let you know what price range to be shopping in, it will allow us to put an offer in on a home without any delays.

My team and I work with a team of excellent lenders. If you're looking to buy soon I recommend having a chat with them to see what options are available for you.

Send us a quick message and let's chat about your goals and lending options

Average Price Per Square Foot in Bellingham

The price per square foot in Bellingham is $240 now, up 9.1% in the past 12 months.  Bellingham continues to be a very competitive market with record low inventory and all time highs.

What to do if you're a seller?

If you're looking to sell your home you can comfortably move to sell your home knowing the market is competitive, homes are selling quickly, and home prices are firmly increasing. If you're thinking of selling soon, sign up for my market reports for your specific neighborhood so you know exactly what the market is doing as we move closer to Spring and Summer.

What to do if you're a buyer?

As we get closer to summer more and more buyers are going to emerge ready and able to buy.  If you, your family, and finances are ready you might want to hurry up a little. Buying now might save you some time and money before the Spring/Summer selling cycle gets in full swing. Here's a list of the newest homes on the market in Bellingham.
